Christophe Berruex

Competitor 10th International Franz Liszt Competition

Christophe Berruex studied successively at the Conservatory at La Chaux-de-Fonds with Erardo Vietti and Jorge Pepi Alos, with Edith Fischer in Barcelona, and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock with Bernd Zack. He is currently continuing his studies with Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. He has attended masterclasses with Paul Badura-Skoda, Peter Nagy, Homero Francesch, Anne Queffélec and Karl Engel. In 2005 he won First Prize at the International Music Competition ‘Pietro Argento’ in Bari and a year later he won the Eugenia Verdet Prize in Barcelona.
