Competitor 10th International Franz Liszt Competition

Federico Nicoletta studied at the Conservatory of Music ‘San Pietro a Majella’ in Napels with Stefania Bertucci, the Music Conservatory ‘Arrigo Boito’ in Parma with Pierpaolo Maurizzi, and at the Fiesole School of Music with Bruno Canino and Pietro de Maria. He was the winner of the Internatio-nal Competition ‘Domenico Scarlatti’ and the Special Franz Liszt Prize of the Antonio Napolitano International Piano Competition. In 2008 he received a scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Stipendienstiftung. Federico Nicoletta performs regularly not only as a soloist but also with orchestra and chamber music ensemble. He played with his ensemble for twentieth century music during the MiTo Festival, the Venice Biennale and at La Scala in Milan. Nowadays he teaches at the Music Academy in Reggio Emilia.
