Sergey Belyavskiy

Competitor 10th International Franz Liszt Competition

Sergey Belyavskiy is currently studying at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory with Elisso Virsaladze. He has attended masterclasses with Van Cliburn, Andrzej Jasinski, Leslie Howard, Vladimir Krainev and Boris Petrushans-ky, among others. He has won a large number of prizes, including Second Prize from the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona in 2014. He previously won First Prize at the International Vladimir Krainev Competition and was a prize winner at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest. Sergey Belyavskiy has been a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, performed in Europe, Asia and the United States in major concert halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow. He now has three CDs to his name, one with works by Liszt.
