Yukine Kuroki has won first prize during Liszt Utrecht 2022. The jury announced this after the finals in the main hall of TivoliVredenburg on 29 September. Derek Wang and Yeon-Min Park both received the second prize. Yeon-Min also received the audience award. During the finals of the competition, the three finalists performed the Grosse Fantasie “Wanderer” together with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Christian Reif.
The international jury consisted of Suzana Bartal, Frederic Chiu, Janina Fialkowska, Nino Gvetadze, Michael Lewin, Mūza Rubackytė, Wibi Soerjadi and Mariangela Vacatello.
