Peter Frankl

The Hungarian-born British pianist Peter Frankl made a name for himself at his debut in London in 1962 and his appearance with the Cleveland Orchestra in New York in 1967. Since then Frankl has performed with the world’s best orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, the Israel Philharmonic, all the London orchestras and all the major orchestras of the United States. He has appeared more than 20 times at the BBC Promenade Concerts and has toured Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Frankl used to teach at Yale University in New Haven and the Liszt Academy in Budapest.
