Leslie Howard

Leslie Howard learned his skills as a pianist in Australia, the country of his birth, and then in Italy and the UK. His wide repertoire covers music from the early years of the piano to the 20th century. He spent 14 years recording the complete works of Liszt for solo piano. Leslie Howard has been President of The Liszt Society for many years. He is also a composer. As a soloist he gives concerts and recitals across the world. This is the fifth time Howard has been a member of the jury of the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. He is a member of the Artistic Advisory Committee as well. He regularly gives masterclasses for the Liszt Competition.

Besides the International Piano Competition held every three years, the Liszt Competition also hosts a number of other concerts and events.
